Vinyasa Flow
Dynamic, flowing sequences that build strength, flexibility, and focus.
Description
Vinyasa Flow is a dynamic style of yoga that links movement with breath. Each pose transitions smoothly into the next, creating a continuous, flowing sequence that builds strength, flexibility, and focus. Rooted in the teachings of masters like B.K.S. Iyengar and Pattabhi Jois, Vinyasa draws from both alignment-based practice and breath-centered movement. While Iyengar emphasized precision and stability, and Jois developed structured, breath-linked sequences, Vinyasa evolved into a more fluid and adaptable style. Emerging more distinctly in the late 20th century, Vinyasa encourages an intuitive, responsive approach to practice, often described as “going with the flow,” while still honoring the discipline and awareness at the heart of yoga.
