I am super excited to join the Yoga@N family! Joining a new community can be both thrilling and inspiring, today I want to share my excitement with all of you!
Here’s a brief introduction about me - I am Raji, owner and lead instructor and needless to say, Yoga is my life! It has served me in times of crisis and kept me going through good and the bad times. My origins are from India and this has helped me understand the essence of yoga from childhood as the principles were enforced from the time we were kids. I have enjoyed traveling and am grateful to have lived in different countries, and also continents, making me a truly “international citizen”! This has helped shape how I interact with people from different cultures, countries and walks of life. I have been practicing for 18 years and taught for 12 - yoga has never felt like work for me!
That is a little something about me, and I can’t wait to learn about you all and meet you at the mat; come book your class on our newly revised website and schedule your sessions with us!

What to Expect When You Join Yoga@N
We are a people oriented studio and no matter what level you are at, we got you! We truly believe that yoga is not just about doing a pose, it is more about the journey; with this in mind we aim at conflict management that stems mainly from the mind (the very purpose of yoga).
You also get to enjoy different yoga variations and styles like Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin, to name a few. What sets us apart from other studios is our effort to stay true to what yoga should deliver - a strong body and mind connect. When such a relationship is established, everything else comes easy and life looks less daunting!
That being said, we offer workshops, teacher training courses affiliated with Yoga Alliance, retreats in both India and US, and community gatherings on a weekly basis. It’s important to connect with like-minded souls, so come enjoy free chai and snacks with us every Sunday from 4–5 pm at our studio. Let’s engage in elevated conversations and connect!
Small tips for Getting the Most Out of Your Practice
Starting or continuing yoga can be rewarding when approached with intention. In order to do this, it’s important to choose the right plan for yourself so that you can incorporate the practice into your life with ease. Remember, taking baby steps are also just as good as big ones when you start something new. We completely get that and will support you with any questions or concerns, just reach out to us and we will reply or call you back.
Here are some helpful tips that are obvious, but still make sense in the overall picture:
- Be realistic
- Listen to Your Body
- Practice Consistently
- Stay Open-Minded
- Use Props When Needed
Looking Ahead with Yoga@N
As I begin this new chapter, my goal is to contribute positively to the Yoga@N family. I plan to continue sharing insights, encourage newcomers, and participate actively in events.
I invite you to join me on and off the mat. Whether you are just starting or have practiced for years, Yoga@N welcomes you with open arms. Together, we can explore the many layers of yoga and find balance in body, mind, and spirit.
Namaste!
